Visiting the Tsukiji Fish Market is the thing you are supposed to do on your first day in Tokyo. Most people wake up very early and the fish market is really going at 5:00 AM.It is amazing how much fish rolls through this place each day. The size of the market is several warehouses. You can walk and walk and not see all of it.
The variety of seafood available is amazing.
