Baseball in Japan. Connor went to see the Tokyo Giants play. Baseball is Japan is very similar to baseball in the United States. One of the differences has to do with the field. There is only clay at the bases, not between the bases. Also, there are no lines between the bases. Several foul balls came our way.
This was a great example of how the Internet makes all things possible. I tried to get tickets directly and was unsuccessful. All of the websites were in Japanese. Even using Googles translate service did not help because so much of the website was in graphics and not text. Eventually, I found JapanBall.com. A few clicks to a website, sending money to a PayPal account, and leaving a hotel address. (I was not sure if this would work or not.)
When we checked into the hotel, our tickets were there.
