It is now time for Connor to experience the Beijing subway. It costs 2 Yuan ($0.29) for a one-way ride anywhere on the subway system. The Beijing subway is our friend. We have ridden several times on the subway. The Beijing subway is one of the nicest we have ridden in the world.
We wanted to buy a Pasmo equivalent for the Beijing subway. This is where language became a real issue. We were unsuccessful. Mary finally heard the English version advertisement for what we were looking for. I walked up to the ticket window and asked for an "IC Card". Bingo. We now have an IC Card for Beijing.
