You are not supposed to drink the water in Beijing. No problem, just go to the local convenience store and buy some. We thought we bought water, it looked like water, it was not water. It was basically sugar water.On the second purchase we got it right.
The Qik mart is just a couple of blocks form our hotel. If you want bags for your purchase, you must pay for the bags also.
