The stories you have heard about pollution in Beijing are true. We had three full days in town. There is a constant haze over the city. Within a few hours of being in town, Mary and I both had to change our contacts due to irritation. Connor did mention he could feel the pollution in his lungs. On our first full day in Beijing, you could stare directly at the sun with no eye protection.Even with the pollution, Beijing is wonderful.
