We made it to the Great Wall. The wall really is great. There are several places to see the Great Wall. We went to the Badaling area. The drive from Beijing was very interesting. We got to experience what it is like to ride on the Chinese highway. Let's just say it was good we were not driving. There is no minimum speed, some cars will go as fast as they can, and some trucks are going very slow. It is voluntary to drive within the lane lines. The emergency lane is openly used as a regular driving lane. Cars honk, drivers go from lane to lane, and somehow it all seems to work.
After one particularly close encounter, the camera came out for pictures.
