At night, there is a light at sound show in Giza at the pyramids. The pyramids are lit up, the lights change, there are lasers, and the sound tells a story of the Sphinx and Egyptian gods. The narration was by Omar Sharif. The entire show takes about an hour and is fun. The best part of the show is where you are sitting. The viewing area is at the base of the Sphinx with a great view of all three pyramids. Our showing was at 11:30 PM on our first full day in Cairo. We got back to the Hotel around 1:00 AM. We had to wake up at 5:00 AM to catch a flight to Luxor.
