Kom ombo Temple

It is really interesting to learn the stories of the Egyptian Pharos and how they controlled the people. The Egyptian Pharos were considered gods. They could do anything. Their children were given jobs of High Priests. The people were told to work hard and prepare for the “second life”. If you worked hard, gave to the Pharo in taxes, and built large monuments, you would help the Pharo make it to the “second life”. If the Pharo made it to the second life, he could come back and bring all of the people who worked loyally for him into the second life also. This is a sweet gig! It would have been great to be a Pharo.

Pharo’s and the High Priests could solve any problem. The relevant area here, and yes it is what you think it is, tells the story of a young man. The young man only gave a little to the Gods and he got five drops. When the young man gave more to the Gods, the Gods blessed him and gave him seven drops.

Aren’t people still selling this stuff today?
