A long day
Today was a long day. We started at 5 AM in Orlando, took a two hour flight to New York (JFK), waited through a 12 hour layover, and took a 10 ½ hour flight to Cairo. We were tired and excited when we finally landed. We were greeted by our tour guide at the airport. He helped ease the way through customs and immigration. Before leaving the airport, he asked if he could use our passports to buy cigarettes at the Duty Free shop. No problem. We have been on the ground only a few minutes and we are helping someone avoid paying taxes. Cairo should be interesting.
