Cruising the Nile … Part 1

It isn’t like cruising out of Port Canaveral. However, it is a lot of fun. The ships are dramatically smaller than the large cruise ships that you normally see. There are only about 50 passengers on our ship. All of the ships are the same size and shape. This seemed odd to us. The reason for this is the lock system on the Nile. Each ship is designed to fit, just barely, through the locks. All of the ships are the same size.
